Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Courtland is an associate at Mosaicstone Law. He graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice with Honours from Mount Royal University in 2018 and earned a Juris Doctor from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba in 2021. During his legal studies, Courtland spent a transformative year abroad at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
Called to the Bar in Alberta in 2022, Courtland brings a unique perspective to his practice, informed by his previous career as a police officer with the Vancouver Police Department. His practice areas include Family, Litigation, Wills and Estates, and Criminal.
In addition to his professional work, Courtland is dedicated to giving back to the community through his pro bono volunteer work with Calgary Legal Guidance. Outside of the office, he trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has a deep love for animals.
